United Nations Day screening of SCALING UP: HAWAI‘I’S FOOD FUTURE

For those in Honolulu, there will be a free community screening of SCALING UP: HAWAI‘I’S FOOD FUTURE at the Church of the Crossroads (1212 University Ave) on United Nations Day, Monday, Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. Director Kimberlee Bassford will be speaking. Please join us!

United Nations Day is celebrated every October 24 and marks the anniversary of the creation of the United Nations in 1945. This year’s United Nations Association – USA theme for UN Day is “Nourishing Peace” and aims to address how food security and peace are intertwined on the international scale.

The screening is sponsored by the United Nations University Regional Center of Expertise (UNU-RCE) Education for Sustainable Development, Hawai‘i Institute for Human Rights and United Nations Association – USA Honolulu, Hawai‘i.
